Organizations lose women disproportionately to men because definitions of what is right and good in the workplace are almost always based on a masculine model. Women benefit in the marketplace by leveraging the differences in their feminine style from the masculine style. Doing so creates new opportunities for women to utilize and value the different strengths they bring to the workplace. This session will address this topic with thought provoking discussion.

We start helping women by inviting you to join our “Entrepreneurial Readiness Program”. At this workshop we will help you evaluate your skills as an entrepreneur by discussing common traits of successful entrepreneurs and learning what lenders are looking for. This is an opportunity for potential business owners and current business owners to learn about building a strong foundation for their business. You will meet our business counselors and have the chance to be able to network with other like-minded women.

This workshop is based on the national bestseller book titled, Don’t Sweat the Small Stuff for Women. In this easy to read book, author Kristine Carlson, shows women how not to let the little things in life get them down. Women lead incredibly full lives nowadays, with little time for relaxation. This session will reveal how to find that small, still center in themselves, and how to live with more joy, calm and peace in the midst of a chaotic world. As session facilitator, Nika White will challenge women in attendance to implement practical ways to do what matters most and find time for self.
